The Gordon Research Seminar on Angiogenesis is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.
The 2017 Angiogenesis GRS will focus on recent advances in the mechanisms of endothelial cell specification, differentiation and dynamic migratory behaviour required to build and maintain blood vessels. Endothelial cells are able to integrate and co-ordinate a range of extra-cellular, intra-cellular and inter-cellular signals to form a functional vascular network. The aim of this meeting is to present and discuss the most recent findings in these processes using a range of innovative in vivo and in vitro models. The meeting will also include an open panel discussion on career development from senior scientists at different career stages.
