The Gordon Research Seminar on Stress Proteins in Growth, Development and Disease is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.
This GRS will explore the breadth of influence that protein homeostasis imparts on biological processes. This will be accomplished through interactive discussions related to protein structure and function. These mechanistic, biochemical insights will lay the foundation for discussions on complex human conditions where protein homeostasis is disrupted including neurodegenerative disease, cancer, and aging. The discussions will be highlighted by a keynote address from a leader in the field of protein homeostasis, as well as opportunities to interact with other senior leaders in a collaborative atmosphere.
