The Gordon Research Seminar on Nucleosides, Nucleotides and Oligonucleotides is tailored for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education. Initiated in 2015, the Nucleosides, Nucleotides and Oligonucleotides GRS was established to serve as a unique forum for trainees attending the associated GRC to have the opportunity to share research findings, gain relevant feedback, and network with other trainees with overlapping research interests.
The scientific focus of the GRS meeting will be on new advances in the field – including genome editing, drug delivery, DNA repair, nucleic acid metabolism, modified nucleic acids, canonical and non-canonical base pair interactions, higher order structures of nucleic acids, and synthetic analogs of nucleosides, nucleotides and oligonucleotides. The GRS will be structured into three themed sessions followed by a strong mentorship component concentrated on career development.
