Following our successful 2nd PGSRET2015 conference, held in 2015 in Islamabad, Pakistan, we are proud to bring the 3rdInternational Conference on Power Generation Systems and Renewable Energy Technologies (PGSRET2017) to Malaysia. The potential of renewable energy resources in the form of biomass, solar and hydro has becoming the basis for energy-mix fuel strategy in many countries. Such strategy works in tandem with world-wide initiatives for carbon reduction in the power generation sector.  In this respect, the conference aims to address current issues on, and recent research and development activities in power generation and distribution systems. The scope also covers technical challenges faced by authorities and developers, and innovative solutions for renewable energy technologies – including solar, hydro, nuclear and ocean energy. Aspects of materials and structural reliability of related power generation systems will be adequately discussed.

The upcoming 3rd PGSRET2017 conference will also feature a special session on Nuclear Power Technology as a safe alternative to the green and renewable energy source. The session will be facilitated by a team of international experts in nuclear energy and education. A dedicated short course on the subject will also be offered by Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS).

All accepted papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore and will be included in IEEE Xplore Digital Library ISBN 978-1-5090-2948-8 (subject to the approval of the IEEE Technical Program Committee) and hence indexed in SCOPUS. Selected papers will be invited/recommended from Authors by PGSRET 2017 Secretariat for publication in special/regular issue of the following journals. Usual peer review/Journal fee, by the respective Journal applies.
