The XVIII Brazilian Symposium on Remote Sensing aims to bring together the technical and scientific community and the business user in the areas of Remote Sensing, Geotechnology and their applications to present their latest research and technological developments, including education and science policy, in the last two years.
The XVIII Brazilian Remote Sensing Symposium will be held from 28th to 31st May, 2017.
The courses will be offered on May, 28th (Sunday).
The Opening Ceremony and the opening of the Technical Exhibition will be held on May, 28th (Sunday), 7:30 pm.
The Special Sessions, the Thematic Sessions, the Oral Sessions, the Panels Sessions, the B2B and Technical Exhibition will occur from May 29th to 31st (Monday to Wednesday).
The Closing Ceremony will be held on May, 31st (Wednesday) at 7:00 pm.

We would like to inform you that the Passaport number of Non-Brazilian nationals is a mandatory field for paper submission. This information is necessary for the correctness of the XVIII BSRS Proceedings.
Electronic submissions of papers must be made exclusively through the "Submission form".
Submit only PDF files (up to 4Mb).
There is no maximum limit for co-authors and no limit of papers for author.
Do not forget to enter ALL co-authors in the submission of paper.
Only full papers with up to eight (8) pages, including figures, tables, equations, and
References will be accepted in PDF format (< 4Mb).
Papers can be submitted in two categories: (1) regular papers and (2) scientific initiation papers (for undergraduate students).
Formatting rules of the papers for the XVIII SBSR are described in the file below. Use the format of this file as a basis for writing your paper and DO NOT NUMBER THE PAGES.
Submitted papers will be reviewed by a Technical and Scientific Committee and Collaborator composed of professionals of all areas of interest. The following topics will be considered:
- Importance and originality;
- Theme relevance and adherence to the conference scope;
- Scientific rigor and quality of data analysis;
- Text clearness and presentation quality;
- Format according to the instructions.
