We are glad to inform you that ISBOC-11, the IUPACs  'International Symposium on Bioorganic Chemistry' will be held at the University of Konstanz, Germany, during 27-29 September 2017. The ISBOC-11 is a joint event with the 'Konstanz Symposium Chemical Biology' we conducted in Konstanz in 2010, 2013, and 2015.
The ISBOC series of meetings was inaugurated in New York by Ronald Breslow in 1986 and has since then taken place at ~three year intervals. Ten symposia have been held till to date in different places around the world including Biarritz (France), Pune (India), Sheffield (England), Toronto (Canada), Beijing (China) and Torino (Italy).
The ISBOC symposium series aims at enhancing the scientific communication among investigators at the interface of chemistry and biology and promoting the development of molecular biosciences (bioorganic chemistry, medicinal and biological chemistry, chemical biology, structural biology, synthetic biology) and related sciences. The upcoming meeting will have Plenary Lectures by invited speakers across the globe, Short and Poster Talks, and poster sessions. We are expecting a total of 600 participants including a large number of students from all over the world for whom, in addition, we will offer an 'Autumn School Chemical Biology'.
