It is our great honor to welcome you to the National Science and Research Organizations Summit Forum on the Belt and the Road Initiative (NSROF), hosted jointly by the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research of CAS (IGSNRR).

This year’s meeting brings together over 200 high-ranking guests from Academies of Sciences and research organizations from around the world. Our meeting in Beijing will continue the important work on international scientific research collaboration on the Belt and the Road Initiative. This year, the Forum will focus on these key topics: Scientific innovation and coordination development, Environment and sustainable development, Building scientific think-tanks and international cooperation, Capacity-building and personnel training, Advanced and applicable technologies and green development, International scientific projects cooperation, all issues mentioned will be conducted under extensive and deep discussions.

The purpose of this Forum is to announce "Belt and Road" joint-declaration on science and technology cooperation, establish long-term mechanism for "Belt and Road" scientific exchanges, strategic consultation and international cooperation.
