Signal Processing and Communications Applications Conference (shortly called as SIU that is abbreviated Turkish name) have been organized in various cities of Turkey every year, since 1993. SIU has been supported by IEEE. In last years, IEEE SIU Conference attracts more than 700 submitted scientific papers written in Turkish with an abstract in English, and several of proposals for industry events. A technical program committee of more than 600 experts provides more than 1,500 reviews. The conference attracts roughly 600 leading scientists, researchers and industry practitioners from Turkey.

IEEE SIU Conference is therefore the most significant scientific event of the signal processing and communications community in Turkey. The conference is four-day event. The first three days are dedicated to keynote talks from distinguished lectures from world-wide universities, tutorials and technical sessions includes oral or poster presentations of scientific papers. 24th IEEE SIU conference will also feature an industry forum and exhibition program. The fourth day of the conference is dedicated to the social programs including whole day trips to beautiful and historical towns (Amasra, Safranbolu and Kdz. Ereğli) at the cost of the West Blacksea Region in Turkey.
