Following the success of the 2014 IET International Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Conference held in Chongqing, China, we are very pleased to collaborate again with the leading automotive research Institute in China CAERI to bring another exciting event in the IET transport sector to Chongqing. ICV 2016 will be focusing on intelligent and connected vehicles technologies and will discuss current developments and future trends. This time we follow a call for paper format for the conference working in collaboration with Chongqing University we will involve some of the best experts from both industry and academia worldwide. We will benefit from these experts participating in the organization of the conference thus ensuring its highest standards and quality.
The conference will be a mixture of technical presentations and poster displays and offers the participants the opportunity to visit the research lab within CAERI.
Manufacturers and suppliers will be able to display their products and showcase their latest technologies at the conference and introduce them in Chongqing, the hub of the China automotive industry.
Writing an abstract
Abstracts are required for all submissions. Abstracts must be submitted using the template form provided. Please ensure all text / diagrams fit within the template and use Times New Roman or Arial font, size 10
Abstracts must be submitted by 21 April 2016 if they are to be considered for the conference
The working language of the conference is English, which will be used for all printed material, presentations and discussion
Before submission, make sure that the following material is ready:
Your abstract title, all authors' names, affiliations and a 35 word (approx) biography
Your prepared abstract file of no more than one A4 page, using the abstract template form provided, including title, names, affiliations and abstract in word format (file size maximum 2MB)
Your preferred topic area is chosen from the conference technical scope
Note: The technical programme committee reserves the right to change the authors' choice of topic areaIf you are submitting more than one abstract you can use the same email address and password for each abstract.
Step 1: Register as a new user
Enter the online submission system
Register as a new user by clicking on the red text at the top of screen – fill out all required fields on the form (* denotes mandatory field). Do not use the forward or back buttons on your browser when navigating the fields
Confirmation screen – an email will be sent to you containing submission instructions, a copy of the abstract template and your username and password
Step 2: Submit your abstract
Enter the online submission system
Log-in using your username and password
Click on the link 'Click here to submit a new abstract'
Follow the on-screen instructions and complete all fields in the four step process
After completing step 4 of 4 you will be directed to a summary screen and sent a confirmation email containing your submission reference number which will need to be used in any correspondence with the organisers
