The Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in collaboration with the IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society Malaysia Chapter, is delighted to announce the 5th International Conference on Smart Sensors and Applications (ICSSA) 2024, scheduled for 10th – 12th September 2024 at St Giles Wembley Hotel, Penang, Malaysia. ICSSA 2024 is also co-organized by Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP). This collaboration aims to foster good relations and enhance the quality of the academic community at the university. We invite practitioners and researchers to join our vibrant community dedicated to advancing the frontiers of Science and Technology, fostering innovative and high-quality research and development in Smart Sensors and Applications. With the theme, ‘Shaping the Future of Intelligent Innovation,’ this year’s conference encourages scholars to explore groundbreaking technologies, foster collaborative efforts, and envision transformative solutions that will drive society towards a more intelligent and innovative future.

We warmly invite researchers and authors to submit original, high-quality technical papers that address innovative research in the broad spectrum of smart sensors and applications. All accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and will be considered for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library (indexed in Web of Science and Scopus). Previous ICSSA papers were listed in IEEEXplore and indexed in Web of Science and Scopus.
