Avionics industry is a highly technology-intensive industry, and technological innovation is the core driving force for the development of the industry, With the recovery and growth of the global aviation market, the avionics industry is also facing higher technical requirements and more technical challenges, such as improving aircraft performance, safety and efficiency, reducing aircraft weight, energy consumption and emissions, meeting the diversified and individualized needs of aircraft, adapting to the networked and intelligent development of aircraft. in order to cope with these technological needs and challenges, enterprises in the avionics industry have increased their investment in technological research and development, promoting the continuous innovation and progress of avionics technology.

Tracing the history of Shanghai's aircraft manufacturing, it can be found that China's earliest civil large aircraft industry set sail from here. With years of accumulated production experience and technical reserves, Shanghai has also become the city with the most solid foundation for the civil passenger aircraft industry in China. Shanghai avionics field is represented by China Aeronautical Radio Electronics Research institute, COMAC Shanghai Aircraft Design and Research Institute, COMAC Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Co., Ltd., AVIC shanghai Aviation Electric Co., Ltd., AVIC Generic Technology Co., Ltd.which have strong independent research and development capability and market competitiveness.

Under this background, 13th Annual Avionics International Forum 2024 (AIF) will be held on May 29th-30th, 2024, in Shanghai, China. The forum aims to promote the rapid development of China's avionics industry. The event will invite guests from government agencies, avionics system development enterprises, aerospace onboard equipment companies, intelligent manufacturing-related enterprises, and airborne software and hardware development companies. The forum is expected to have a scale of over 550 participants, who will collaborate to drive innovation in avionics technology.
