The 2023 International Congress on Ultrasonics in Beijing (2023 ICU BEIJING ) is the eighth biennial meeting under the banner of the International Congress on Ultrasonics (ICU) since the constitution of ICU in 2005, to be organized and hosted by ICU, the Acoustical Society of China and Institute of Acoustics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Since the 2021 ICU BEIJING has been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the ICU Board Member Committee decided that 2023 ICU BEIJING will be held in a hybrid way, i.e., both on the ground and online.
On behalf of the international organizing committee (IOC), the associate international organizing committee (AIOC),the international scientific committee (ISC) and the general secretariat (GS) of 2023 ICU BEIJING, we would like to extend our sincere appreciation and cordial invitation to everyone in the ultrasonic community to this exciting upcoming event.
The congress aims to bring together professionals and experts from academia, industry and government in all disciplines of ultrasonics, to exchange the achievements and experience in the field of Biomedical Ultrasound, Industrial Ultrasound, Nondestructive Evaluation, Physical Acoustics, Emerging Field etc. (see the “Scientific Topics & Special Sessions” for more details) Meanwhile, it will provide participants with a valuable opportunity to improve their international connections and explore Beijing, a home to seven UNESCO world heritage sites.
