By degrees pronunciation occupies a salient place in English teaching for senior high school, which is an explicit representation of spoken language output. The new part of Pronunciation in New Senior English for China (2019) (Hereafter New Textbook) is one of the best evidence for it.
With the research methods of qualitative analysis and textual analysis, on the basis of the previous theoretical research, this paper takes the instructions of Pronunciation parts in New Textbook Module 2 as the research object, probes into a few enlightenment and suggestions of pronunciation teaching approaches in pronunciation teaching for senior high school.
