Temperature field analysis of wind power busway

The busway is a kind of power transmission equipment. Due to the characteristics of its own structure, temperature rise has a great influence on its working performance and reliability, especially at the connection unit. In order to study the thermal characteristics of the wind power busway, the geometric model of the wind power busway was established by SolidWorks software, and then the temperature field simulation was performed by the finite element method. The conditions of the temperature field simulation settings are obtained through heat transfer analysis. The heat generated by the busway is transmitted by heat conduction to various components, and then transmitted by convection and radiation to the natural environment. The heat source of the busbar has Joule heat and the eddy current loss of the housing and the contact resistance at the connection. Through the simulation, the temperature distribution map of the wind power busway is obtained, and the temperature distribution of the connection unit is compared with the test data to verify the correctness of the simulation. Then evaluate the temperature rise of each part of the busway, and put forward several suggestions for the optimization of busway design.
