V-Band Polarization Reconfigurable CMOS Antenna-on-chip using AMC

this paper presents a small size V-band Antenna-on-Chip(AOC) based on o.18 um Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor(CMOS) process, which has two triangular radiating patches controlled by two switches. The square ring artificial magnetic conductor(AMC) is used as the antenna reflection floor to enhance the radiation performance of the antenna so that the gain of triangular AOC can achieve -1.368dB at 60GHZ . The ±45° polarization and Y polarization can be converted by changing the switch state on the chip.
