IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society, Instrumentation and Measurement Technical Committee on Wireless and Telecommunications in MeasurementTC-13, Instrumentation and Measurement Technical Committee on Measurement and Networking TC-37 and Shanghai Maritime University is pleased to announce the 1st International Symposium on Sensing and Instrumentation in IoT era (ISSI 2018) will be held in beautiful city of Shanghai, China on September 6 to 7, 2018.
ISSI 2018 represents a forum where researchers, scientists, engineers and practitioners around the world will promote the advances in sensing and instrumentation for IoT. The symposium valorizes new and original research in IoT applications such as smart city, transportation, healthcare and farming.
The full version papers (4 to 6 pages) submitted to ISSI 2018 will be accepted based on peer review process. The review process may conduct to some revision requests for the final version of the paper that must be mandatory fulfilled to have the paper accepted for the symposium proceedings.
The accepted papers will be published in conference proceedings and will appear in IEEE Xplore and EI Compendex. Selected papers will be considered for publication in special issue of Sensors, SCI open Journal.

Please note that an author of an accepted paper must REGISTER to attend the symposiumandto PRESENT the paper. Only the presented papers at symposium will be published in theproceedings. Papers that do not meet these requirements will not be published.No exceptions.
Full Paper Preparation
Authors areinvited to submit a FULL PAPER (4-6 pages) - reporting original research relevant for the ISSI 2018. In the submitted paper should be explained the significance of the contribution, used methods and results, emphasizing newadvances, theories and/or applications so that the program committee will beable to understand the originality and the value of the work.
Technical Program Committee will review the paper manuscripts. Authors of accepted full papers, must submit the final manuscript according tithe deadline, register for the symposium, and attend the conference to present their papers. The maximum length for final form of papers is 6 pages. No exceptions.
DEADLINES
Full Paper Submission: May 1, 2018
Paper acceptance/rejection notification: May22, 2018
Final Manuscript Submission, Copyright Form, and Registration: June 15, 2018
Papers will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Once manuscripts have been submitted to EDAS, they may be assigned reviews. At this point, authors’ will not be able to update manuscripts until the next phase of the review process.

Please login and follow the following steps:

1. Select the appropriate track (Regular or Special Sessions).
2. Enter the title of the paper and indicate the paper authors.
3. Select the Topic Area your full paper falls under.
4. Click the Submit button.
5. The next page you will see a large green check mark and a statement that the paperwas recorded. The last row says Review Manuscript, and has an icon of a bluecloud next to it. Click on this icon, and then you can upload the PDF of yourFull Paper on the next page.
*Review Manuscript is used to refer to the PDF form of your full paper. You can also upload the paper by clicking the My Papers tab at the top of the screen, and then select the upload icon on the same row as the name of your paper. The upload icon (third column from the right) will open a dialog box that will enable you to select and upload the full paper file via the web or via FTP.
