Switched hybrid systems are generally referred to a class of systemsthat may encounter mode variations in structures and parametersmixing discrete planning algorithms and continuousprocesses,which provide the basicsand methodology for the analysis and synthesis of autonomous and intelligent systems.Switched hybrid systemshave been involved in the practical engineeringdeeply, and as such, they have been emerging in more and more applications such as power electronics, mechanical systems, communication networksand ecological systems, etc.
The objective of this special session is to present the advances in the field of switched hybrid systems. Both theoretical and application-oriented papers are sought for, addressing the issues of modelling, control, filtering, fault diagnosis and model reduction of switchedhybrid systems, and applications based on switchedhybrid systems, etc.
