Following our successful editions, we welcome you to an even better and bigger 6th annual Emirates Oncology Conference in Abu Dhabi. For years, we have clearly set the benchmark for oncology conferences in the Middle East and this year’s edition further stresses our commitment to maintain this lead with our focused pursuit of excellence.

Our three-day conference program with a theme “Personalizing Cancer Treatment – A Multidisciplinary Approach” has been designed to cover a breadth of topics in oncology, including almost all the key sub-specialties of oncology. Presentations prepared by global experts as well as panel discussions will provide our delegates with the very latest information on best practices and the most recent developments in cancer research, diagnosis and treatment.

The main conference sessions will feature advances in breast, lung, gastrointestinal, genito-urinary, gynaecological, haematological malignancies, paediatrics oncology/haematology, palliative care and nursing.

I am pleased to announce that we will have sessions on head and neck cancer, geriatrics and supportive care in cancer to get the latest advances from the international and regional speakers in their respective fields. We will also continue to host an open forum for the public to encourage participation and interaction with the experts mainly to raise awareness about cancer and the importance of early screening. The program encourages discussion and interaction with thought leaders in the field of oncology.
