The Department of English at Arizona State University and the Arabic Linguistics Society are excited to announce that The 32nd Annual Symposium on Arabic Linguistics (ASAL) will be held at Arizona State University, Feb 23-25, 2018.

The main goal of the conference is to bring together like-minded linguistics scholars to share their recent work with the Arabic linguistics community, discuss current issues in Arabic language, and contribute to the Arabic linguistics field. The organizing committee of The 32nd ASAL invites submissions from graduate students, linguistics scholars, as well as other researchers interested in the Arabic language. We welcome papers across different linguistics (sub)fields that discuss various recent theoretical and applied Arabic linguistics issues.
