This year we celebrate the 40th anniversary of collaboration between Institute of Modern Physics in Lanzhou, China and the GSI Helmholtz Center in Darmstadt, Germany.

This event will be celebrated in Beijing on Monday 4th of September 2017 followed by a Workshop for Storage Ring Physics and Accelerator Technologies (September 5-8), where the successes in the past as well as the present research and possible future collaborations shall be presented and discussed.

The workshop will cover 3 main themes:
- Physics at storage rings and related topics [SPARC, ILIMA]
- Accelerator technology
- CBM and PANDA Physics

We would like to invite you to join the celebration and the workshop.

The invited speakers at the workshop will be announced soon.
