Research on Speed Control Method for Motor Drive Mechanism of 126kV Vacuum Circuit Breaker

In order to improve the intelligent operation level of the motor operation mechanism of 126kV vacuum circuit breaker, and finish the switching operation of the circuit breaker under the preset stroke curve, A control method of PWM rectifier real-time adjusting drive motor speed is proposed. Combining with the motor operating mechanism of vacuum circuit breaker movement characteristics . A motion equations of permanent magnet brushless DC motor are established and the response characteristics of the motor speed are analyzed according to movement characteristic of motor operating mechanism, then the controllability of motor movement is studied. The input voltage of the drive motor is controlled. A PID controller based on instantaneous direct current control method is proposed. The simulation model of motor control system is established. The input voltage of the drive motor is adjusted in real time. The closing speed curve and travel curve of motor operating mechanism are obtained based on the dynamic simulation of the speed regulation and controlling prossess of the motor operating mechanism of the 126kV vacuum circuit breaker. Test results show that the PWM rectifier is used to adjust the running speed of the drive motor in real time, and the motor speed can be adjusted quickly and effectively . The closing time difference between the travel curve and the preset curve of motor operating mechanism is 1.2ms.The purpose of tracking the default curve of the motor operating mechanism can be achieved by controlling the output voltage of rectifier.
