H-Shape Dual Band Patch Antenna Using Stack Configuration for Wireless Communication and Applications

Patch miniaturization is an ongoing trend in modern communication technology nowadays. In this paper functional behavior of H slotted patch is presented. With additional ground irregularities multi resonating frequency response is attained at range of 1-8GHZ resulting at most gain of 6.4dB and 7.4idBi of directivity with good impedance bandwidth. With use of Double fractal patch technique FR4 and Air are chosen as substrate bases. With help of implementing shortening pin technique reduction of antenna is accomplished to 69.29%.
By changing location of shortening pin only different desired bands resonation can be achieved. These type of compact antennas are applicable in Wi-Fi, WALAN, Wi-Max, Bluetooth, C-band, and S-band and also in satellite communication technologies.
