It's universal and effective to solve the problem of land shortage in coastal cities by means of land reclamation. There’s a land area of 133.3 km2 of 0.4~8.5 meters’ thick dredger fill, mostly made of saturated silt soil and clay soil, which belongs to the unconsolidated soil with long self-weight consolidation cycle in Shanghai Lingang district. In the paper, self-weight consolidation of dredger fill was simulated by Flac3D and the law of self-weight consolidation was obtained. Coulomb sliding surface was applied to simulate the pile-soil interface while discussing the development of single pile slide friction. On basis of development of single pile slide friction, the long-term bearing capacity of single pile was predicted, which provided a reference of construction design of pile foundation in Lingang district.
