To solve the problem of uncertainty for track association in distributed sensor network, a new weighted fuzzy track association method based on D-S theory is proposed. In this proposed method, the influence of sensor tracks’ reliability on sensor tracks to local tracks association is considered. According to the relative features on target motions, the D-S theory is utilized in evidence combination on the different information of a sensor track to calculate the dynamic weight as its reliability. Then the reliability is introduced into fuzzy track association between sensor tracks and local tracks for calculating the weighted fuzzy association degree. Based on this, the association judgment is made at last. The experimental results illustrate that the proposed method can achieve good performance in association processing rate and fusion quality.
