Three dimensional model of reservoir architectural elements is very complex and difficult to build.This paper, taking the east Wen 25 Block of Zhongyuan oilfield as example, constructs the detailed architectural element model by hierarchical modeling methods. First, reservoir architectural elements and its bounding surface are recognized using the core data, well logging data and production data; second, the interlayers are analyzed and the statistical characteristics are obtained;thirdly, using the deterministic and stochastic modeling method ,the architectural elements model is established using the Petrel software. The constructed architectural elements model is consistent with geological analysis of the studied area, which can be used for the reservoir simulaton and the enhancement of oil recovery.
