Abstract—This paper studies the trust evaluation of intelligent ships and shore-based platforms in a zero-trust environment. We propose two trust models specifically designed for the zero-trust environment. One model adopts fine-grained evaluation of the static attributes and access behaviors of ship users, accurately reflects the trust value of users within the current time period, and grants them the minimum authorization accordingly. It also integrates multiple factors to calculate the trust value, and the trust value will decrease over time. The other model uses the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) to transform the fuzzy and uncertain evaluation problem of the management quality of the shore-based platform into a simple problem of weighting trust evidence. At the same time, it calculates the trust value of the shore-based platform by combining the recommendations of ship users, and provides feedback to the shore-based platform based on this trust value. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the two trust models proposed in this paper are verified. This study provides valuable reference materials in the field of communication security for intelligent ships.
