摘要
This study addresses the diagnostic challenge of electron magnetization in the transitional magnetization region during the Z-pinch implosion process, proposing a far-field diagnostic and quantitative evaluation method based on radiation anisotropy characteristics. Within the magnetic flux gradient distribution formed by dynamic compression, the electron orbital characteristics (betatron/cyclotron radiation patterns) in the transitional magnetization region (between weakly magnetized periphery and unmagnetized axial regions) directly influence plasma stability. However, the sub-nanosecond transient process poses significant challenges to conventional diagnostic approaches. Through particle-in-cell(PIC) simulations establishing a Z-pinch electron bremsstrahlung model, we develop quantitative correlations between anisotropic bremsstrahlung intensity ratios and magnetization parameters. The developed X-ray spectrum inversion algorithm, enables transitional magnetization diagnosis without requiring magnetic field perturbation. This provides a crucial evaluation tool for optimizing Z-pinch implosion stability and energy confinement time.
