Optimizing Economic Dispatch of Integrated Electric-Hydrogen Systems Considering Shared Hydrogen Energy Storage

To efficiently consume renewable energy, energy storage technology has become crucial due to its high flexibility. In this paper, a basic model of energy shared hub (ESH) considering electric-hydrogen coupling is established to analyze the economics of its integration into industrial user groups (IUGs). The validity of the proposed model is verified through a practical example. The findings demonstrate that the introduction of ESH not only mitigates the wastage of sustainable energy but also significantly reduces the operating costs for users by configuring independent energy storage within IUGs.
