摘要
The results of experimental development of a new generation of disk explosive magnetic generators (DEMG) of small-class (250 mm diameter) are presented. The following significant changes have been made in the design of DEMGs, as compared to a prototype:
- transition from profiled disk elements to flat disks allowed increasing more than two-fold the amount of explosive energy transferred to the magnetic field [1];
- realization of a scheme of DEMG current formation on the basis of a foil electrically exploded current opening switch (EECOS) in the form of a "serpentine" [2], allows increasing the voltage without a significant increase in the inductance of energy supply to the load [1];
- application of the EECOS in the form of a "serpentine ", together with discharger, allows reducing the time of current pulse supply to the load to 100 ns [3].
The results of the first experiments studying the shock and isentropic compression of substances are given, the ranges of achievable pressures are estimated, and the prospects for the use of small-class DEMG in experiments on the generation of X-ray radiation by Z-pinch are evaluated.
