摘要
Most condensed materials exhibit characteristic excitations in the far-infrared range. The ultrafast dynamics of these excitations significantly influence the fundamental physical and chemical properties of the materials. Regulating the dynamics of these excitations by changing pressure is intriguing for revealing the key microphysical processes involved and can provide dynamic experimental support for the exploration of novel materials. In the past two decades, time-resolved spectroscopy has been widely applied in the field of high-pressure research, playing a crucial role in ultrafast high-pressure physical chemistry studies. However, time-resolved high-pressure spectroscopy techniques are currently limited to the visible light range, and there are only a few reported technologies and research in the mid-far infrared range. This report introduces a ultrafast time-resolved high-pressure ultra-broadband mid-far infrared spectroscopy technique developed on air-plasma-based light source technology. The technology integrates the characteristics of high pressure, wide spectral detection, and ultrafast time resolution, with the detection spectral range covering 30 to 2400 cm-1, achieving full-spectrum mid-far infrared detection. We believe that this new technology will play a significant role in advancing the field of high-pressure research.
