A new post-spinel of Fe0.8Ni1.8Sb0.4O4 at high pressure

摘要
Materials with the spinel struture reprsent an important class of multifunctional materials, and attracted great attentions in Earth and material sciences. In the present study, the structure evolution of Fe0.8Ni1.8Sb0.4O4 (NFSO) was investigated up to ~50 GPa by using the synchrotron-based X-ray diffraction and Raman techniques. A new form of post-spinel structure was discovered in NFSO, which may possess unique properties. This study shed a light in the pressure tuning of the structure and properties of the multifunctional materials with the spinel structure.
