摘要
High current pulse from Pulsed power facility is used to drive wire array to implode and impact cylindrical foam generating shock wave and producing a blackbody radiation environment, which is called Z-pinch dynamic hohlraum(ZPDH). The axial blackbody X-ray radiation from ZPDH can be used to heat the sample to high temperature, and a high brightness spot after its shock wave concentration can be used as a backlight to study the radiation opacity of high temperature plasma. This report will introduce recent experiments of aluminum radiation opacity on 10MA facility. A nearly 120eV dynamic hohlraum was generated to heat the half-moon sandwich (CH+ Al+ CH) sample. The heating process last about 2ns, when shock when the shock wave converges into the center and produces a back-lighter. The backlight spectrum through CH and the absorption spectrum through the sandwich (CH + Al + CH) sample was diagnosed by using two sets of crystal spectrometers in the axially positive/negative 8 degree directions respectively. By comparing the two sets of spectrum results, the radiation opacity data of Al sample was given and the analysis results indicate temperature reaches 110eV and electron number density is about le22cm-3.
