摘要
During the entire Z-pinch process, the ablation phase occupies 80% of the implosion time and determines the mass distribution before implosion. Ablation flows of wires exhibit characteristic modulation wavelengths, leading to non-uniform ablation of the wires and serving as initial seeds for the Magneto-Rayleigh-Taylor instability. In past experiments, the evolution of the ablation flow has been analyzed through imaging, but the diagnosis of fluid parameters was lacking. A rotated wire array configuration was employed to enable compatibility with previous optical diagnostics and achieve axial spatial resolution in Thomson scattering diagnostics. The experiment diagnoses the temperature and velocity distributions of Al double-wire ablation plasmas. Results indicate that low-density ablation plasmas exhibit faster velocities and higher temperatures, with velocity maxima reaching twice those of high-density streams. Axial velocities show significant fluctuations, with magnitude reaching 9 km/s, possibly associated with plasma instabilities.
