Abstract—In this paper, a small low-voltage high-speed mechanical switch is designed. Firstly, the working principle of electromagnetic repulsion mechanism is analyzed. Secondly, a simulation model is established, and the influence laws of key parameters such as coil, discharge capacitance and voltage on the breaking speed of the mechanical switch are summarized. After comprehensive consideration, the design parameters are selected, and an experimental test platform is built to actually test the response time and contact resistance of the mechanical switch, and a small low-voltage DC high-speed mechanical switch conforming to small on-state loss and fast response speed is designed.
