Theoretical Models of Ultraviolet Photoelectron Yield for Spacecraft Surface Materials

The aim of this article is to review the research progress on Ultraviolet Photoelectron Emission Yield (PEEY) theoretical models for spacecraft surface materials. It primarily introduces the development of PEEY theoretical models, including the FD model, one-step model, the TSM model/MC model based on the three-step emission theory, as well as the MFD model, Moments-based model, and Quantum model. Additionally, provides an analysis and comparison of the research methods and applicability conditions for each model, outlining the developmental context of PEEY models.
