Study on inverse Compton scattering X-ray source generated by higher-order Bessel laser

Inverse Compton scattering source is a compact X-ray source generated by the interaction of relativistic electron beam with laser beam. It can provide quasi-monochromatic, continuously tunable, and polarization precisely controllable X-ray pulse, showing a wide range of application prospects in ultrafast physical process and medical physics research. Theoretical analysis and particle-in-cell simulations are adopted to investigate X-ray generated by the interaction between high-quality relativistic electron beam and high-order Bessel laser. Attentions are paid to investigate the confinement mechanism and guiding conditions for relativistic electron beam in the higher-order Bessel laser with the hollow light field and non-diffraction, analyze the radiation characteristics of the electron beam in the laser field. The performance of the inverse Compton scattering source are obtained. The optimized scheme of the high-brightness X-ray source is given, providing reference and support for the future experimental research.
