Abstract: Against the background of a substantial reduction of coal resources in the east, the western arid and semi-arid grassland area has become the important energy replacement area and strategic energy reserve area in our country. To provide reference for soil restoration in mining area, soil sampling data and statistics and Kriging interpolation methods were used to study the status and distribution characteristics of soil organic matter, total nitrogen, hydrolyzed nitrogen, available phosphorus, available potassium, pH and other nutrients in Junge coal base, and the soil fertility level was studied and evaluated. The results show that: At present, the average contents of soil organic matter, total nitrogen, hydrolyzed nitrogen, available phosphorus and available potassium in Zhunge Qi mining area are 0.74±0.60%, 300.01±165.92mg/kg, 26.97±16.61mg/kg, 2.91±2.23mg/kg and 97.80±58.72mg/k, respectively. The spatial distribution of soil organic matter content decreased from west to east, the spatial distribution of total nitrogen showed a patchy pattern, the spatial distribution of hydrolyzed nitrogen showed an irregular distribution, the spatial distribution of available phosphorus was more uniform, and the spatial distribution of available potassium showed an increasing trend from west to east. The contents of organic matter and hydrolyzed nitrogen were positively correlated with the altitude. The contents of hydrolyzed nitrogen and available potassium were also affected by the slope and showed significant correlation with the slope. Finally, factor analysis and modified Nemero index method are used to evaluate the soil fertility of coal power base. It shows that the comprehensive evaluation of soil fertility obtained by factor analysis is more reliable by calculating the weight of each index. The results can provide ZhunGer coal power base of land reclamation and ecological restoration.
