含水矿物的冲击高温高压响应与水在深部地幔的行为

摘要
地球的表面与深部部分金刚石包裹体中均发现了含有结构水(OH-)的天然矿物。这些含水矿物可以在俯冲带的作用下进入地球深部,使得地球内部的含水量可能远远超过地表并且在地球壳幔之间形成水循环。明确天然含水矿物在地幔类似高温高压条件下的相稳定性、脱水反应以及物理、化学和力学性质对于揭示地幔水的存储、循环和对地震波的影响具有重要的科学意义。通过利用冲击高温高压实验技术模拟深部地幔的温压条件,我们研究了典型含Fe和Mg等天然含水矿物(FeO2H和Mg(OH)2)的相变、脱水行为以及状态方程和声速等物性。研究结果可进一步揭示地球下地幔中的水的存储和输运行为以及对地幔组成和结构的影响。
