According to the test data of DC resistance, insulation layer thickness and jacket layer thickness,  the weight determination method based on principal component analysis is studied, and the distribution power cable material quality grading evaluation model is constructed based on cluster analysis and principal component analysis.The results show that the DC resistance, insulation layer thickness and jacket layer thickness are important factors, and by valuing above factors, the quality grading evaluation model can efficiently evaluate the quality of distribution power cable material.
