Purpose/Aim

At present, the transformer monitoring intensity is insufficient, the management fineness is insufficient, and the information level is low. In order to solve the current problems and further improve the quality and efficiency of transformer equipment operation and inspection, it is urgent to improve the intelligent level of transformer equipment, promote the construction of ubiquitous Internet of things on the equipment side, integrate advanced and practical intelligent sensing technologies such as oil spectrum, partial discharge, pressure and temperature, improve the equipment interconnection and self inspection, self-test and self calibration ability, realize the comprehensive perception, online monitoring, active early warning and intelligent research and judgment of equipment status, and vigorously improve the safe operation level of equipment.

Experimental/Modeling methods

The intelligent transformer upgrading technology scheme integrates advanced and practical intelligent sensing technologies such as transformer oil color spectrum, partial discharge, pressure and temperature. By deploying various new intelligent sensors, the equipment interconnection and self inspection, self-test and self calibration capabilities are improved, and the transformer operation data, electric / non electric data, online monitoring data, robot patrol data and video are integrated to realize the comprehensive perception, online monitoring and Active early warning and intelligent research and judgment.

Results/discussion

This paper introduces various sensing technologies of transformer from the aspects of digital meter and on-line monitoring technology, and gives the configuration and selection principle of hierarchical state sensing of intelligent transformer. On this basis, it gives the functional and performance requirements of various sensing technologies of intelligent transformer.

Conclusions

This paper gives suggestions for the development direction of the new generation of intelligent transformer, and analyzes the problems to be solved in the intelligent improvement of transformer by the current Internet of things technology.
