Purpose/Aim

The shape parameter simulation can determine the size of the magnetic focusing ring; the relative magnetic permeability within a certain range can be scanned to determine the manufacturing material; the introduction of a shielding shell can improve the shielding effectiveness.

Experimental/Modeling methods

The porcelain insulator model is established according to the actual size, and the size of the magnetic concentrating ring model is set according to the porcelain insulator. COMSOL adds magnetic fields and controls variables to study the effects of size, material and shielding effectiveness.

Results/discussion

The air gap width, inner radius and width will have a significant impact on this effect; the magnetic concentration ring itself has excellent shielding efficiency, and the shielding shell can significantly improve the shielding efficiency.

Conclusions

(1)By continuously optimizing the shape parameters, the use effect can be improved; 

(2)The best effect can be obtained by using a material with a relative magnetic permeability of about 1000 to make the magnetic concentrating ring;

(3)Increasing the shielding shell can greatly improve the overall shielding effectiveness.
