Research on Live Working Safety of 110kV and 220kV Mixed Lines Based on Vertical Lifting Method

In recent years, the vertical lift method (VLM) to enter and exit the equal potential has been applied to the 500kV and above lines. However,due to  lack of targeted research on relevant technical requirements,no relevant appilications have been carried out on the 110kV and 220kV lines. In this paper, for the drum-shaped arrangement structure of the 110kV and 220kV double-circuit lines on the same tower, the characteristics of interphase combination gap discharge are studied, The interphase combination gap discharge characteristics formula of entering and exiting the equal potentials of the 110kV and 220kV using VLM is obtained,the safety VLM is investigated. The results show that the hazard rates of live working using VLM are less than 1.0×10-5 which meets the safety requirements of live working. Therefore,the application scope of VLM can be further expanded.
