In order to explore the low-voltage ride-through operating characteristics of direct-drive permanent magnet wind turbines, this paper established its mathematical model, using the power system electromagnetic transient simulation software PSCAD/EMTDC to build a simulation model of the wind power system, which is suitable for the unit when the grid voltage drop fault occurs Simulation of low voltage ride-through characteristics. The low-voltage ride-through equipment was used to test the grid-connected low-voltage ride-through operation of a direct-drive permanent magnet wind turbine in a certain area. The comparison between the measured data and the simulation data verifies the correctness of the control strategy and simulation results of the grid-connected operation of the direct-drive permanent magnet wind turbine set proposed in this paper.
