The integrated development of energy and transportation is an important technical approach to realize the national "dual carbon" strategic layout. For energy supply, fixed load, random load and energy storage equipment, it is necessary to build a set of highway multi-energy complementary system. In the highway multi-energy complementary system, the interconnection topology of distributed energy will change the electromagnetic transient characteristics of the system. In order to explore its electromagnetic transient characteristics, a power electronic transformer (PET) mathematical model with AC/DC/AC topology is established in this paper, taking the highway multi-energy complementary system as the research object. In the PSCAD/EMTDC simulation environment, PET input stage adopts the control strategy of outer loop DC voltage and inner loop AC current, isolation stage adopts the droop control strategy, and output stage adopts the double closed-loop control strategy. The simulation model of the whole highway multi-energy complementary system was built, and the electromagnetic transient characteristics of the system under single fault and fault coupling were explored when the energy storage device was open and the photovoltaic generator set was faulty. The results of bus voltage and current obtained by simulation can provide certain basis for the selection and structural optimization of component related parameters in PET.
