Study on the Characteristics of Peak Shaving and Development Trend of New Energy in a Typical Province

This study analyzes the current energy structure of a certain northern province. Based on the endowment of new energy resources featured by photovoltaic power, the study analyzes the output characteristics of new energy of typical power stations as well as the whole grid, which summarizes the output features of new energy of the province. The study further investigates the superposition characteristics of wind, light and load, which illustrates the peak shaving characteristics of new energy and clarifies the power limit abandonment period. In view of above-mentioned analysis and conclusions, suggestions for new energy development and flexible resource allocation of the grid are put forward.
