摘要
Driving fatigue caused by tedious driving environment was a key factor resulting in traffic accidents, especially in grassland highways. Two types of new-style anti-fatigue device (colored road pavement and roadside barrier) were designed to prevent driving fatigue from the aspect of driver visual stimulation. The effectiveness of these two devices on preventing driving fatigue was tested by carrying out driving simulator experiment. The data of 25 drivers' subjective self-assessment and objective reaction time were obtained. Through comparative analysis, the effectiveness of each anti-fatigue device was quantitatively analyzed. The results showed that the anti-fatigue effect of colored road pavement was better when comparing to blank group and experimental group with colored roadside barrier. The study results could provide some basis and implication to prevent driving fatigue in grassland highways.
