Yinggui Zhang1, Qiang Lu1 1 School of Traffic and Transportation Engineering, Central South University Changsha, 410004,China Abstract:The regional rail transit system relates to various rail transit modes such as inter-city, high-speed, suburban and general-speed railways, which has the characteristics of high rail network density, complex structure, high passenger flow strength and strong organizational relevance. The network topology structure reflects the structural relationship of the network, which has an important influence on the performance, reliability and construction management cost of the network, so the research on the network topology and the complexity plays a very important role in the overall network design. Taking the rail transit network of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area(GBA)as an example. In this article, we intends to abstract the rail transit network of GBA into a complex network , abstract the station site into a network node and abstract railway lines into network edges, which plays an important role in establishing the network topology model. Besides,the structural characteristics of the network are explored through statistical evaluation and spatial analysis. Our results show that the rail transit network in the GBA is a small world network with scale-free features. Through computer simulation, the reliability test of the network shows that the deliberate attack on the edge or node of the network is more destructive than the random attack.Therefore, this paper proposes a comprehensive measurement and evaluation method, so that we can analyse the global role of each node and the multi-layer structure of the bay area rail network, and to confirm whether the different layers of the bay area road network can maintain a stable connection.
