摘要
The shared bike, as a kind of active travel mode, can greatly benefit travelers with convenience. It has successfully found its way to enter the transportation market and become an important travel mode in urban areas around the world. This paper proposes a dynamic mathematical model to estimate the availability of the shared bike from both the aspects of time and space. Further, we build a platform to simulate the bike sharing system, which can capture every movement of each shared bike. We use the simulation platform to verify the accuracy and feasibility of the availability modeling. This availability model can give a quicker response than the simulation process which is time consuming. Therefore, this availability model is a more efficient way to measure the performance of the bike sharing system. This model contributes the evaluation of the bike sharing scheme, and provides decision support for planners of system design.
