摘要
During the 13th Five-Year Plan period, the Ministry of Transport launched the construction of Smart Highway demonstration project. V2X cooperation is the core parts of Smart Highway. Intelligent vehicles exchange messages by using the infrastructure called Intelligent Road Side Unit (RSU). Due to the highway roadside space, construction feasibility and financial constraints, how to deploy the RSU alone the highway while guarantee the requirements of V2X communication is an essential problem. This paper firstly summarizes the V2X requirements in different control scenarios. After that, a test in the test ground for the communication of the RSU will be introduced with the test method and results. Those data will be used for the algorithm of the highway intelligent road side unit deployment method. Finally, a real case study on the Changjiu Highway is used to demonstrate the feasibility of proposed method about RSU deployment.
