Optimal Siting and Sizing of Distributed Generation Based on Chaotic Particle Swarm Optimization

摘要
The large-scale grid connection of distributed generation (DG) will change the traditional operation mode of the distribution network. It is significant to reasonably plan and configure DG. A two-stage DG location and capacity planning method is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the set of candidate nodes of DG is determined by voltage stability index and quadric moment of reactive power, then the optimization model considering the minimum annual comprehensive cost of distribution network is established. In order to overcome the prematurity of particle swarm optimization (PSO), the chaotic PSO is used to solve the optimization problem by combining the PSO and chaos search strategy. Finally, the proposed method is simulated in IEEE33, and the simulation results show that the proposed method can reasonably configure DG.
